Purchase Bonuses For Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark Announced

With the release of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark right around the corner, Activision has announced a batch of exclusive purchase bonuses that will be available through either GameStop or Amazon.

Those who choose to purchase the title though GameStop may possibly receive the better bargain, as select purchases will come with an exclusive panoramic poster (while supplies last) and two e-Movie Cash Tickets to see the upcoming Transformers: Age Of Extinction, which opens nationwide on June 27. These bonuses will come in addition to the previously announced pre-order DLC, the “Weathered Warrior” pack, which comes with two new characters (Thundercracker and Skywarp) for use in the co-op multiplayer Escalation mode.

For those that don’t feel like venturing into the world of GameStop, the purchase bonus available for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark through Amazon is a free digital Transformers comic book. Customers can choose from one of five different comics, which will then be delivered to their Kindle, if they own one.

I’m all for Activision choosing to sweeten the pot when it comes to purchasing Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark, as I’m assuming the public may be skeptical of the title. While most people are probably unaware of the fact that previous series developer High Moon Studios is no longer working on the title, movie tie-in games are typically a tough sell regardless.

Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark will roll out on June 24 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. An additional version of the title developed by WayForward Technologies for the Nintendo 3DS will also be available the same day.
