Exclusive Video Interview With Jack Reynor And Nicola Peltz On Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Michael Bay is at it again. On June 27th he'll release the fourth film in his bombastic, over the top, Transformers series. Acting as a reboot of sorts, Transformers: Age of Extinction stars a fresh crop of faces (for the most part). Taking the lead roles this time around will be Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor. While most moviegoers are instantly familiar with Marky Mark, Peltz and Reynor are still fairly new on the scene and their roles in Bay's upcoming film are by far the biggest of their careers.

Michael Bay is at it again. On June 27th he’ll release the fourth film in his bombastic, over the top, Transformers series. Acting as a reboot of sorts, Transformers: Age of Extinction stars a fresh crop of faces, as taking the lead roles this time around will be Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor. While most moviegoers are instantly familiar with Marky Mark, Peltz and Reynor are still fairly new on the scene and their roles in Bay’s upcoming film are by far the biggest of their careers.

For his fourth outing in the blockbuster series, Bay sets the story four years after the events of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Wahlberg stars as a mechanic who, along with his daughter (Peltz), makes a shocking discovery that “brings down Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official – on them.”

Recently, Peltz and Reynor were in Toronto to promote the film and I had the chance to sit down with them for an exclusive interview. The two young actors were noticeably excited about their upcoming blockbusters and among other things, they discussed what it’s like working with Michael Bay, the challenges of making a massive film like this, and how they worked hard to keep the human element in tact throughout.

Check it all out below, and be sure to catch Transformers: Age of Extinction when it crashes into theatres on June 27th!
