I have to admit, the more I see from Hyrule Warriors, the more the game grows on me. I never would have thought I’d be excited for a Dynasty Warriors/Legend of Zelda mashup, but this is turning out to be something that I never knew I needed.

In the latest trailer for the game, Princess Zelda’s bodyguard Impa gets a chance to showcase her skills. Wielding a comically oversized sword and a dazzling assortment of water/ice magic, Impa looks like she’s going to be one of the heavier hitters when the game comes out.

It’s a bit strange that the shadow sage from Ocarina of Time is going to be an ice mage, but so far nothing about this title makes all that much sense to me. All I know is that I need it in my hands, right now. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait just like the rest of you for Hyrule Warriors to hit North American store shelves on September 26th.

Until then though, at least we have this awesome trailer.
