Diplo and Skrillex, who would have thought that those two would create such a dynamic duo? The pair announced their intentions to team up last May, calling themselves Jack U, but since then, not a whole has come of their little side project (although, they did absolutely kill it at Ultra this year. See the video below). Earlier today, however, Diplo confirmed that him and Skrillex will indeed be making an album together.
Seeing as Jack U are now in very high demand, thanks to some fantastic sets, news of an official album from the duo should bring a smile to the face of almost any EDM fan. Skrillex told us a few months back that they planned to release a few more tracks this year, but this is the first that we’re hearing of a full album.
While we don’t have any further details on the collaboration, or when it will drop, the fact that it’s in existence and is being worked on is very exciting indeed.
