Zedd and Ariana Grande have finally released their much-anticipated collaboration, Break Free, which is the second single off Grande’s upcoming album, My Everything.

“It is a mix of her because she has a really special voice, and obviously you kinda of clearly hear me in the song, so I think it’s more unusual for her than it is for me ’cause I do this all the time,” Zedd told MTV. “For her, I think it’s the first time she has made a song like that so she is really stoked about it.”

While this is very much Grande’s show, with the track taking on more of a pop/teeny-bopper vibe than what Zedd’s fans are used to hearing, it’s still a catchy dance tune and is definitely worth a listen if you enjoy music from either artist.

Hardcore fans of the Russian DJ might not be totally impressed with what they hear, but Break Free will no doubt give Zedd a bit more mainstream recognition, as it will surely be getting a ton of radio play this summer. And, like I said, it is very a catchy song. There’s no denying that.
