Piranha 3DD To Bring Back Rhames, Scheer And Lloyd

Remember Piranha 3D, that silly movie about the killer piranhas from last year with tons of gore and a twisted sense of humor? Well, filming is already underway on the sequel and it's been announced that cast members Ving Rhames, Paul Scheer, and Christopher Lloyd will be returning. This is interesting for two of these characters mainly because of the fate of Rhames's character in the first film and the strange disappearance of Scheer's character (his character actually dies in a deleted scene). Lloyd is likely returning as the bizarre piranha expert.

Remember Piranha 3D, that silly movie about the killer piranhas from last year with tons of gore and a twisted sense of humor? Well, filming is already underway on the sequel, Piranha 3DD, and it’s been announced that cast members Ving Rhames, Paul Scheer, and Christopher Lloyd will be returning.

This is interesting for two of these characters mainly because of the fate of Rhames’s character in the first film and the strange disappearance of Scheer’s character (his character actually dies in a deleted scene). Lloyd is likely returning as the bizarre piranha expert.

It’s also been announced that Esquire’s Sexiest Woman in the World, Katrina Bowden, will be joining the cast. This time, the plot has the piranhas invading a water park, so you can imagine what’s likely to be in store.

Piranha 3DD is being directed by John Gulager (Feast) and will be released on November 23rd.
