The Voice coach Blake Shelton has made a name for himself with catchy, uplifting country anthems, from rowdy duet Hillbilly Bone to love song God Gave Me You, and there’s no reason to suspect that the singer will be stocking his next album with anything other than comparably crowdpleasing tracks. Recently, Shelton announced the title of his upcoming album to be Bringing Back the Sunshine, surely indicative of the album’s cheerful tone, and dated it for release on September 30th.

The studio set, which will be Shelton’s 11th, doesn’t have a track listing or any singles yet. Warner Bros. has stated, however, that information on that front is forthcoming.

The album artwork, which you can check out below, is a black-and-white image depicting a water tower bearing the name Ada, Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma. An intriguing choice when you consider the colorful album title, but perhaps the content of Bringing Back the Sunshine will shed some more light on Shelton’s motives for picking a colorless cover.

Shelton’s 2013 album Based on a True Story… was a massive success for the artist, landing at number three on the Billboard 200 last April. It marked the singer’s best sales week ever with 199,000 copies sold. Additionally, the album yielded hit singles Sure Would Be Cool If You Did, Boys ‘Round Here, and Doin’ What She Likes.

Check out the album art for Shelton’s upcoming release below and let us know what you think.
