Just days after Paramount announced that it was going ahead with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 following the surprisingly big box office returns of the first film, the studio has already slotted the sequel for a prime summer release date. Moviegoers can look forward to reuniting with Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael on June 3rd, 2016.
Michael Bay will be returning in a producing capacity on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, though it’s still unknown whether the first film’s director Jonathan Liebesman will be again sitting behind the camera. On the other side of the lens, it’s expected that Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Johnny Knoxville, Jeremy Howard, Tony Shalhoub and Danny Woodburn will all be returning for the sequel.
