Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will, of course, continue this trend, as numerous heroes and villains will be showing up to join in on the fun.

Traveller’s Tales massively popular Lego franchise has always prided itself on having strong playable character rosters. Whether it be Indiana Jones or Harry Potter, there have been no shortage of characters to choose from. Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will, of course, continue this trend, as numerous heroes and villains will be showing up to join in on the fun.

While we already knew the likes of Batman, Superman and even Adam West were going to appear, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has revealed several new playable characters that are coming to Lego Batman 3. Popular faces such as Supergirl, Dick Grayson, Sinestro and Gorilla Grodd are just a few of the newly announced characters, and the full list reads as follows.

New heroes and villains weren’t the only thing revealed for Lego Batman 3 at Gamescom, as a new level has also been officially announced. Home to the Blue Lantern Corps, Odym is a mystical world that was first introduced to the world of DC Comics in 2007. Since the story of the game revolves around Brainiac taking the battle to the outer reaches of space, it is not surprising that these far flung planets would make an appearance.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is currently scheduled to be released this fall for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
