Henry Cavill And Amy Adams Complete ALS Ice Bucket Challenge On Set Of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Anyone who's been on the internet over the last couple weeks has likely noticed a hot new trend of dumping a bucket of ice water all over yourself in the name of Amyotrophic Iateral Sclerosis research. People from all walks of life have taken the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge," from normal everyday citizens to A-list celebrities, tagging and challenging their friends to do the same.

Anyone who’s been on the internet over the last couple weeks has likely noticed a hot new trend of dumping a bucket of ice water all over yourself in the name of Amyotrophic Iateral Sclerosis research. People from all walks of life have taken the “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge,” from normal everyday citizens to A-list celebrities, tagging and challenging their friends to do the same.

As great as raising awareness for ALS research is, posting about it isn’t something we’ve done on this site, mostly because we’re dedicated instead to discussing and reviewing things from the world of entertainment. Henry Cavill just changed our stance on that though, as he completed the ALS challenge along with his Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice co-star Amy Adams. What makes his video different than, say, Ben Affleck’s or Gal Gadot’s? Well, Cavill completed the challenge in full costume as Superman.

Ironically, the video gives us our best look at the new and improved Superman suit yet. Until now, we’ve only glimpsed the red and blue digs though one official image and a few blurry set photos. I guess you could even say that this is our first real glimpse at Adams as Lois Lane, who honestly hasn’t changed much since the last time we saw her.

Check out Cavill and Adams’ ALS Challenge below, and head over to the ALS Association website to either donate to the cause, or learn more about the disease for yourself.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.
