After months of teasing, WB Games and Traveller’s Tales have officially confirmed a release date for the upcoming LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The latest brick-based adventure of the Caped Crusader will launch on November 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PC.

Featuring a smattering of DC Comics’ finest characters, LEGO Batman 3 pits Batman and company against the android known as Brainiac. Harnessing the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac is on a mission to shrink down different worlds and add them to his ever-growing collection of artifacts. With the entire universe in peril, the Justice League and the Legion of Doom must join forces in order to save the day.

To coincide with the release date announcement, WB Games has also unveiled the official cover art for LEGO Batman 3, which can be seen below.

With Batman: Arkham Knight not releasing until 2015, this represents our only chance to step into the Caped Crusader’s shoes this year. Of course, this isn’t a bad thing, as the LEGO series of titles have been consistently good since their debut back in 2005. Hopefully Beyond Gotham can do for DC Comics what last year’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes did for Marvel.

We will continue to have coverage of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in the lead-up to its release in November, so stay tuned.
