EKO Software will be bringing How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this fall.

In case you missed the original release, or actively avoided it, How to Survive is a top-down zombie survival game that tasks players with escaping an island infected by our favorite cultural phenomena. Players can venture through the game’s story mode, or attempt to cross the entire island and reach the getaway vehicle by selecting a challenge mode. In order to survive, players must gather materials, craft weapons, and eliminate any walking corpses that happen to stand in their way.

This latest version of How to Survive includes all six DLC packages to expand the game in a variety of ways. Players will find themselves exploring new islands, testing their skills in new difficulty settings, experiencing additional survival modes and taking on randomized scenarios, as they attempt to find and repair an escape vehicle.

How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition could be a great deal for those that have been waiting to get their hands on the game, but without solid confirmation on a final retail price, it’s hard to justify the port. Although, it could be a great distraction while we wait for Dead Island 2 and Dying Light to shamble onto retail shelves.
