Our first very good look at Assassin’s Creed: Rogue has arrived in the form of the game’s Hunter trailer. It’s a visceral treat for the eyes, as well as a treat for the ears, and makes the last-gen only title look pretty freaking great.

Adewale, the former slave and close friend of series veterans, is reintroduced as a bad guy in Rogue. Of course, that makes sense given the game’s setting and time period, as well as the fact that it tasks players with controlling a Templar-oriented protagonist. The switch will definitely be a change of pace, and will certainly take a bit to get used to, but it will hopefully breathe a breath of fresh air into a series that has become a bit repetitive over the years.

Check out Assassin’s Creed: Rogue‘s Hunter trailer below, but don’t let it get you too excited. After all, its release is still more than two months away.
