Lionsgate just added two high-profile projects to its upcoming schedule – magician caper sequel Now You See Me 2 and raunchy roadtrip comedy Dirty Grandpa.

The former has been set for June 10th, 2016. It’s a follow-up to last year’s surprise smash hit Now You See Me, which opened to an unexpectedly mighty $29.4 million domestic debut and went on to gross a stellar $351.7 million worldwide.

The sequel is expected to continue the story of The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco), skilled magicians who perform heists, now that the enigmatic Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) has inducted them into a secret society of magicians known as the Eye. Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) is sitting in the director’s chair, taking over from Louis Leterrier.

Now You See Me 2, as it’s currently known, is only facing down video game adaptation Uncharted on that date.

Dirty Grandpa (working title), which will star Zac Efron and Robert De Niro, is set for release on December 25th, 2015. The comedy will follow an uptight man (Efron) who, on the eve of his wedding, is tricked into driving his dirty-minded grandfather, a former Army general, to spring break in Florida. Dan Mazer (I Give It A Year), a constant Sacha Baron Cohen collaborator, is directing the comedy from a script from John Phillips.

The competition that Dirty Grandpa will face is considerable. Already set for December 25th of next year are blockbuster fivequel Mission: Impossible 5; buzzy biopic Joy, which reteams Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell with actress Jennifer Lawrence; and Alejandro González Iñárritu’s highly anticipated historical thriller The Revenant, in which Leonardo DiCaprio plays a fur trapper out for vengeance after being robbed and left for dead by his hunting companions following a bear attack.
