As we enter the second half of September, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now access Halo: Reach for free courtesy of Microsoft’s Games With Gold promotion.
Normally priced at $25, this offer means that Halo: Reach will replace Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine on the digital roster — which was available for the first two weeks of this month. Without doubt, this presents a great opportunity for fans of the series to download Bungie’s fifth and final Halo title, given that the 2010 hit won’t be included in the forthcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection when it releases in November.
Elsewhere on Microsoft’s digital storefront, Valiant Hearts — Ubisoft Montpellier’s wonderful and poignant take on the trials and tribulations of World War I — is currently half price until September 22nd. If you haven’t got round to playing the studio’s digital release, we here at We Got This Covered strongly recommend it as it mixes together the perfect dose of loveable characters and compelling history.
Other titles that have been discounted include poct-apocalyptic coupling Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, Pac-Man & the Ghostly Adventures along with acclaimed JRPG, Tales of Vesperia.
In terms of Xbox One, users who hold an Xbox Live Gold subscription on that particular platform currently have access to Super Time Force and launch title Crimson Dragon right up until the end of December.
