CI Games and Deck 13 have announced that Lords of the Fallen will be receiving the Collector’s Edition treatment when it launches later this year. The brutal hack ‘n’ slash title will be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Although we don’t know the exact cost of the Collector’s Edition at this time, we do know what will be included with the massive bundle. The set will come packaged with the official soundtrack, a cloth map, hardcover art book and an eight-inch bust of Harkyn, the game’s protagonist. Also included with the set will be the extra digital content that was previously announced for the Limited Edition of Lords of the Fallen.

While I always appreciate a good Collector’s Edition, I’m not too sure about this one. Yes, the soundtrack will probably be pleasant to listen to and I’m sure the art book will be nice to look at, but the eight-inch bust is a little too much for me. It’s the same issue I had with the Master Chief helmet that came with Halo 3 and the Batarang that was bundled with Batman: Arkham Asylum.

We will continue to have coverage of Lords of the Fallen in the lead-up to its October 28 release, so stay tuned.
