The Chainsmokers, the New York-based DJs behind songs like #SELFIE and Kanye, have always received a bit of whiplash from the EDM community, mostly in the form of being called sell-outs.
But, being called a sell-out isn’t necessarily always a bad thing, and recently, Drew and Alex decided to use this to their advantage and teamed up with Elite Daily Sketches to create a rather hilarious breakdown of some essential tips for attending an EDM festival – an official guide, if you will.
Some of the tips they give us include being part of the PLUR lifestyle, giving a shout-out to fellow producers, creating fatheads so that they won’t lose each other in the crowd, etc. The last tip, of course, is to “get weird,” and as you can see at the end of the video, it definitely gets a bit weird.
