Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that PlayStation TV will be coming to North America on October 14. The set-top box, which launched in Japan back in 2013, will also be available in Europe starting on November 14.

Carrying a cost of $99, the PlayStation TV will be able to play a large selection of PlayStation Vita, PSP and PS One digital titles. The announced list of nearly 700 titles include favorites such as Persona 4 Golden, Final Fantasy VII, Borderlands 2 and my personal favorite, Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X. The device will also be able to play PlayStation 3 titles via PlayStation Now, and can also stream PS4 titles through Remote Play.

For those that want more than just the PlayStation TV device, Sony is also offering a bundle that includes all the essentials you will need. For only $140, the set includes a DualShock 3 controller, 8GB memory card and a digital copy of The LEGO Movie Videogame. An exclusive bundle will also be available through Walmart, and will include Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, in addition to all of the content contained in the standard set.

European gamers will receive a slightly different bundle when the device comes over in November. Retailing at £85/€100, the set will come with a voucher for three digital Vita titles: OlliOlli, Velocity Ultra and Worms Revolution Extreme.

We will continue to bring you the latest news on PlayStation TV in the lead-up to its October launch.
