Expanding on the material we’ve already witnessed, the trailer retells the story of Jupiter (Mila Kunis), an Earth-born cleaner whose low-level job only stifles her ambitious dreams. Cue one genetically-engineered bounty hunter in the shape of Channing Tatum, who is sent to Earth to track her down and end her! When the pair meet, he has a Eureka moment when it turns out her hopes and dreams aren’t the usual piffle all folks face – she’s actually the queen of the entire universe.

All in all, we’re damned excited that movement on the movie has started up again. This new three minute preview packs in more excitement, CGI and colossal explosions that the previous trailers. However, there’s still an air of mystery surrounding the film’s sudden departure from this year’s slate, which we can now assume was linked to additional CGI work that’s evidenced by a handful of new shots.

Jupiter Ascending opens in theatres worldwide on February 6th. You can watch the trailer above and check out a new one-sheet poster below.

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
