Well, it’s almost that time of year again. Activision is gearing up to release the latest instalment in their juggernaut franchise and to remind us all that it’s coming, they’ve released the official launch trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which deploys on November 3rd.
Though it’s a bit on the brief side (it only runs about 90 seconds), we get a look at the single player campaign, some of the characters, a couple set pieces and of course, some advanced warfare that looks genuinely exciting.
The series usually gets a healthy dose of flack for never reinventing the wheel and just giving us more of the same every year. However, with Advanced Warfare, it definitely looks like they’re changing things up a bit and from everything I’ve seen so far, I’m feeling pretty confident that this instalment might actually feel fresh and new.
Of course, we won’t know for sure until the game launches next month. But in the meantime, check out the trailer above and let us know if you’re optimistic about Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
