Back in 2013, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding created dance music magic with their track “I Need Your Love.” The song topped multiple charts, took home numerous awards and most of all, left us wanting more. Thankfully, the duo teamed up again for Harris’ new album, Motion. The result was “Outside,” a track that, while not as impressive as their first effort, is still, by all accounts, a great tune.
Now, we have the music video for “Outside,” and it features both artists in front of the camera. Harris and Goulding play exes who, in tune with the theme of the song, reflect on whether splitting up was the right choice or not as they argue with their current significant others.
There’s nothing terribly original or exciting about the clip, but “Outside” is a catchy and wholly pleasing song, and Goulding looks great in the video, showing off her abs as she takes centre stage.
