Hot on the heels of yesterday’s photo, which displayed Earth’s Mightiest Heroes mmesmerizedby James Spader’s bone-chilling monologue, Marvel has unveiled a host of promo images for Avengers: Age of Ultron that bring attention to Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster armor along with the titular, power-hungry AI.

The artwork also includes a rather ominous still of Thor, standing over a pile of decimated drones, and a poster that brings together all of the sequel’s main players. Interestingly, there is no sign of Pietro or Wanda Maximoff — otherwise known to you and I as Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch — though we’re betting that the studio plans to hold back on showing too much of the newcomers until closer to release.

For Age of Ultron, those two characters will be played by Aaron-Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olson, who will join an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Stellan Skarsgard, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, and Don Cheadle. We understand that Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba will also have a small part to play.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to blast into theaters on May 1, 2015. For now, be sure to check out those recently-revealed promo images in the gallery below.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
