Focus World has formally confirmed the title for Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton’s upcoming dramedy, which will now be released as 5 Flights Up.

During development, the project — which was directed by My One and Only‘s Richard Loncraine — flirted with a variety of titles including Ruth & Alex and Life Itself before settling on the aforementioned moniker. In tandem with the news, the studio also confirmed a new release date for the comedy, which will have a limited release on May 8, 2015.

As you’ve probably already guessed by now, 5 Flights Up will see Freeman and Keaton play a married couple who find themselves faced with a tough decision: should they sell their beloved Brooklyn home? Over the course of the film, they begin to realize that leaving the house they know and love may not be as daunting as they first imagined, instead offering up a whole new life opportunity in their twilight years.

Based on Jill Ciment’s novel Heroic Measures, Focus World first picked up the rights to distribute the project off the back of Toronto Film Festival, and while it doesn’t scream originality based on its premise, the fact that Keaton and Freeman are onboard as the two leads — an Oscar-winning pairing, no less — means that Loncraine’s comedy at least deserves the benefit of the doubt. Cynthia Nixon, Korey Jackson, Claire van der Boom and Carrie Preston round out the cast.

5 Flights Up will have a limited released on May 8, 2015. In the meantime, you can share your early impressions of Morgan Freeman’s latest stint in the comments section below.
