Originally announced for a launch near the end of March, Capcom has revealed that DmC: Definitive Edition will drop a week earlier than expected. The remaster of Ninja Theory’s 2013 release will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

When it was first revealed last month, Ninja Theory had set a March 17 release date for DmC: Definitive Edition. Apparently, development on the title has been going well, as the remaster will now launch on March 10. The shifted release date has not altered the price for the game, either, as it will still be available for only $40.

As for the other planned remaster, Devil May Cry 4, Capcom is still keeping mum on when it will exactly launch. Presumably, it’s expected to release during Summer 2015.

While it is not the biggest of changes, I’m still excited that I will get the chance to jump back into Dante’s shoes a week earlier than expected. I was a big fan of the original release and I’m hoping this remaster can help the game find a larger audience than it did on last-gen consoles.

We will continue to have coverage of DmC: Definitive Edition in the lead-up to its March release, so stay tuned!
