Showtime’s Homeland Trailer

Yesterday we got a new trailer for Showtime's upcoming series Homeland. Starring Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin, the show looks like an action/political thriller similar to 24, which would make sense since the two shows share the same executive producer.

Yesterday we got a new trailer for Showtime’s upcoming series Homeland. Starring Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin, the show looks like an action/political thriller similar to 24, which would make sense since the two shows share the same executive producer.

A preview video was released a while back but I think this trailer gives us a better look at the intense nature of the show. It looks pretty gripping and intriguing and is definitely something I’d be interested in. Check out the trailer and plot summary below.

HOMELAND, a one-hour drama, is a psychological thriller starring Claire Danes as a CIA officer who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of a U.S. soldier (Damian Lewis) who had been missing and presumed dead was a set-up and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin plays a veteran CIA Division Chief who is her boss and mentor. HOMELAND is written by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Gideon Raff will be produced by FOX 21.
