Tom Hiddleston Says There Are Questions To Be Answered In Thor: Ragnarok

Last night played host to the annual BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award ceremony, and though the films nominated for awards took center stage, journalists still took the opportunity to quiz a lot of the stars present on upcoming projects. One of which was Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, who spoke briefly about Thor: Ragnarok, adding the rather tantalising caveat that there are "questions to be answered" in the upcoming Marvel threequel.

One of which was Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, who spoke briefly about Thor: Ragnarok, adding the rather tantalising caveat that there are “questions to be answered” in the upcoming Marvel threequel.

Speaking to EE on the red carpet, the fan favorite touched upon his role in Ragnarok and beyond.

“Probably. Thor 3 is happening at some point, and the last time we saw Loki, he was on the throne. There are some questions to be answered!” Hiddleston teased.

When asked about his long-term future in the MCU, though, the actor remained coy. “I don’t know if I could [Laughs]. If I keep dying my hair black, it’s going to fall out! But no, I love the character. It’s a great, great character and it’s amazing how the Marvel world who people who love films. It’s fun!”

Given that Thor: Ragnarok is still two full years away, details on the Mighty Avenger’s next solo outing are scarce on the ground. From what we understand, the film will act as a defining moment in the MCU as a whole, with Marvel hinting that it will be the cinematic equivalent of a game-changer. Plus, when you consider than the word Ragnarok itself translates as “The End of All Things,” it would appear as though the studio is looking to raises the stakes quite considerably in time for 2017.

Currently slated for July 28, 2017, Thor: Ragnarok will look to shake the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its colorful cast of personas down to its core.
