The tune seems to be a nod to the Misty Mountains song from The Hobbit, but the lyrics are a different story, boasting the fact that the sequel won’t have DRM, always-online requirements, or a pay-to-win model. Fans of the first game also get a glimpse of how returning heroes Wilbur, Ivo, Nate, and Critter will look.

The game will be available for digital purchase Febuary 20th on Steam and GOG.com, and a limited physical edition will also be available, including bonus goodies like an art book, a soundtrack CD, a making-of DVD, a double-sided poster, and the exclusive in-game option to change Critter’s color.

We will have a review up very soon for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, but in the meantime, check out the humorous trailer above and let us know your hopes for the sequel in the comments section below.
