Much like previous clips, this third sizzle reel devotes a significant chunk of screen time to James Spader’s titular, tyrannical villain. In fact, we learn much more about the origins of the power-mongering machine. Billed as a beacon of hope for mankind, Stark’s creation was birthed through the Ultron program, but it isn’t long before the AI becomes sentient and turns on its founding fathers – a fallen angel, for all intents and purposes.

To do this, Ultron utilizes newcomers Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) as pawns to muddy the waters, turning Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against one another in the hope that the super-powered group tears itself apart from the inside. It’s a wonderful final trailer, and one that has us all the more excited for the sequel’s arrival in only a few months’ time.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1st and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
