Following the release of the game’s most recent update, 1.08, users have begun reporting issues with the performance of Grand Theft Auto V. According to Reddit, a bug within the update has resulted in graphical downgrading, with technical problems such as parallax mapping and environmental textures popping up sporadically.
Thankfully, Rockstar Games has acknowledged the issue through the company’s official Newswire, stating that the development team is currently investigating the issue.
We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now. At the time of writing, the studio has fast-tracked update 1.09, which reportedly fixes the deformation issues and other graphical bugs; however, some users are still citing that GTA V isn’t as visually sharp as it once was. Whatever the case, we’re sure Rockstar will release a further patch in the very near future.
