We come bearing good news for Halo fans today, as it turns out that Halo 5: Guardians isn’t that far off on the horizon after all. In fact, the much-anticipated sequel will launch exclusively for the Xbox One on October 27th of this year!
Halo 5: Guardians‘ official release date was revealed this evening, during a commercial break for AMC’s The Walking Dead. It flashed upon the screen following the conclusion of a short, live action commercial, featuring Halo: Nightfall protagonist Spartan Locke. If you follow the series’ lore, then you’ll know that he’s in charge of hunting Master Chief in the upcoming fifth (numbered) Halo game.
