For one speed-runner, though, the RPG proved to be somewhat of a breeze; in fact, YouTube user Oginam_tv has uploaded a video of his playthrough that showcases him beating the entire game in a measly 44 minutes. Granted, said speed-runner did exploit a string of in-game glitches to accomplish such an eye-watering feat, but it still makes for an interesting watch.

Much like Dark Souls and Dark Souls II before it, there exists a bug within Bloodborne that, when exploited, allows players to bypass around half of the game. Whatever your opinion on Oginam_tv’s method of approach, there’s no doubting his achievement – and within the game’s launch week, too.

“This was a pretty good run but I can certainly get faster,” he lamented.

From Software’s Lovecraftian title is a monster in every sense of the word, with harrowing boss battles, numerous secrets and the procedurally-generated Chalice Dungeons area. Of course, this speed-run in particular circumvents much of this content in favor of reaching the end goal in the fastest possible time. But what do you think of Oginam_tv’s blazing walkthrough? Indeed, what are your own experiences from Bloodborne? Let us know in the comments section below.
