Directed by Safety Not Guaranteed‘s Colin Trevorrow, the studio’s reboot-cum-sequel imagines a reality in which the park is open for business, bringing in hoards of excited crowds to experience what is surely the most audacious zoo on the planet. But, much like previous entries in the beloved series, it isn’t long before the prehistoric predators are running rampant across Isla Nebula, mowing down tourists and other dinosaurs without a shred of remorse.

For Jurassic World, that terror will largely emanate from the Indominus Rex, the genetically-modified dinosaur engineered to meet corporate mandates and help draw in bigger crowds when audience numbers start to dip. However, as this sophomore clip so brilliantly teases, it’s clear the island’s scientists have went one step too far, creating an animal that is intelligent, lethal and beyond anything that park’s rangers can feasibly control. Enter Chris Pratt’s protagonist, Owen.

Jurassic World will open for business on June 12. For now, be sure to feast your eyes on two all-new posters for Trevorrow’s reboot.

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
