Tony Hawk Teases Tony Hawk 5 With Character Creator Parody

In continuing his efforts as a brand ambassador, Tony Hawk has once again taken to Twitter to promote his upcoming, untitled skateboarding game that many think will be called Tony Hawk 5, or perhaps even Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. In continuing his efforts as a brand ambassador, Tony Hawk has once again taken to Twitter to promote his upcoming, untitled skateboarding game that many think will be called Tony Hawk 5, or perhaps even Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. This effort – which comes in video form with a bit of text joking about how the game was recently “leaked” – will certainly pique the interest of longtime fans, and create some old-school nostalgia.

Although it’s short, what you’ll see is a quick homage to the classic games’ character creator screen, featuring Rob Wootton. The editing sells it, and there’s a good amount of fun to be had.

Stay tuned for more information pertaining to Tony Hawk 5 – if that’s what it’s called – as we’ll make sure to let you know when we hear anything else about it. This was just a small thing, but it was too good not to share. That said, here’s hoping that the next reveal will be a substantial one, and will hopefully bring with in more information about the return of the classic gameplay and lack of motion gimmicks.
