New Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Promo Art Offers Best Look At New Batsuits Yet

We may still be about a year away from the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but that hasn't stopped Warner Brothers from jump-starting the marketing campaign for the highly-anticipated superhero showdown. In addition to the film's first teaser trailer - which has, predictably, caused quite a stir online - and posters, we've now been treated to some promotional photos giving us our first real look at the two new batsuits that Ben Affleck will don in the film.

We may still be about a year away from the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but that hasn’t stopped Warner Brothers from jump-starting the marketing campaign for the highly-anticipated superhero showdown. In addition to the film’s first teaser trailer – which has, predictably, caused quite a stir online – and posters, we’ve now been treated to some promotional photos that give us our first real look at the two new batsuits that Ben Affleck will don in the film.

The images come courtesy of the forums on Blu-ray.com and also feature a glimpse at Cavill as Supes, in what looks like a much brighter costume than the one worn in Man of Steel, as well as some awesome artwork that plays up the “versus” angle of the film via some vintage, boxing match-inspired banners.

It may still be a bit too early to tell, but I think that even the naysayers can agree that this is the most faithful adaptation of the Batman costume we’ve ever seen on film. The suit looks like a Jim Lee drawing come to life, with obvious nods to Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns, right down to the armored suit. We still don’t know if the film will manage to live up to our high expectations, but we’re guaranteed to be in for a visual treat thanks to Zack Snyder and costume designer Michael Wilkinson.

Don’t just take my word for it though. Check out the new images in the gallery above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments section!

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters on March 25th, 2016.
