Rocksteady may still have to win some fans back over following the kerfuffle that ensued shortly after the unveiling of Batman: Arkham Knight‘s exhaustive season pass, but today, the studio has debuted a trio of screens for the upcoming threequel that turns the attention to the new-fangled Dual Play feature.

Allowing players to switch between characters, Grand Theft Auto V-style, Arkham Knight will contain gameplay segments that encourage tag-team combat, as you switch control of Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman, taking down the game’s multitude of enemies one goon at a time. Though fans were led to believe that Dual Play signified the addition of co-op play when it was first revealed, the feature is still a welcome addition to the formula, and it’ll be fascinating to see how Rocksteady implement the facet into its adorned combat system.

As things stand, there is a whole host of additional content vying for your attention. The aforementioned season pass, for instance, is set to encompass story-centric missions such as Season of Infamy and Gotham City Stories. Priced at $40, it’s understood this DLC bundle will also introduce players to Batgirl, too. Rocksteady hasn’t stopped there, however, as those who wish to pre-order Arkham Knight will gain access to the Harley Quinn DLC; a prequel content pack that will center around the devious villain who lays siege to the Blüdhaven Police Department.

Batman: Arkham Knight is due to swoop onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23, while Rocksteady will release ports for both Mac and Linux at a later date.
