Eric Prydz To Release First Album This Fall

Eric Prydz is a legend. Let's just get that out of the way. The progressive house master has been around for almost 15 years now and whether he's operating under his real name, or one of his aliases (Pryda, Cirez D), his work is always incredibly impressive. Believe it or not though, Prydz has never released an album, at least not under his name, but thankfully, he plans to remedy that this October.

Eric Prydz is a legend. Let’s just get that out of the way. The progressive house master has been around for almost 15 years now and whether he’s operating under his real name, or one of his aliases (Pryda, Cirez D), his work is always incredibly impressive. Believe it or not though, Prydz has never released an album, at least not under his name, but thankfully, he plans to remedy that this Fall.

Earlier today, the producer took to Facebook to announce a trio of EPs headed our way, titled PR(10)DA, which will contain previously unreleased material. Once those are out, he’ll then drop his first ever album.

“[These EPs] will then lead into my first ever Eric Prydz album, an album that I am so excited about! An album that I have been writing in my head for over 10 years!”

We don’t have exact release dates just yet, but the EPs will hit in July, August and September, respectively, and then the album will follow in October. As for what we can expect to hear, I’d imagine that the recently released “Generate” will make an appearance, but again, there’s no further details at this time.

We’ll keep you posted once more news arises, but for now, tell us, are you looking forward to Eric Prydz‘s debut album?
