Fans of NetherRealm’s well-received and hugely successful Mortal Kombat X rejoice; the game’s second DLC character, Tanya, will be punching and kicking her way onto the roster starting next week. Owners of the Kombat Pack will be able to grab the shiny new fighter a week earlier, on June 2, with everyone else being able to download her a week later on June 9 for the same price as previous DLC character, Jason Vorhees.

NetherRealm’s decision to include Tanya as one of the four already-announced DLC characters has been questioned by some fans for her relative obscurity in comparison to other series stalwarts, especially as there’s still the likes of the screaming, hair-whipping Sindel – who you also tussle with in the game’s story mode – waiting in the wings for her time to shine.

But hey, it’s still early days yet as far as additional content is concerned. With two of the four currently-announced DLC characters not even being MK natives, there’s still plenty of room for NetherRealm to fill out Mortal Kombat X with some more fan favourites.

Aside from the four characters we’ve already been told about, which other fan-favourite characters are still hoping to see announced? Let us know in the comments below!
