Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld stars as Megan Walsh, a 16 year old trained assassin who is the best special ops agent of her class. Eventually, she finds herself yearning for the life of a normal teenager. As a result, she fakes her own death and becomes part of a student exchange program which allows her to be adopted by a foster family. While she thinks she’s prepared herself for the treacherous waters of high school, she soon finds that being an international assassin is infinitely easier than being a teenager.

During the recent press day for the film, we had the chance to sit down with Hailee and her co-stars Sophie Turner and Dove Cameron. Each of the actresses spoked about how they prepared for their roles as well how they related to their characters’ struggles.

Check out what they had to say in the video above and be sure to catch Barely Lethal as it’s now in theatres.
