The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo US Green-Band Trailer

A few days ago we posted a leaked red-band trailer for David Fincher's upcoming film, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was quite an impressive trailer even considering the low quality of the leak. Some sites have been reporting that Sony possibly leaked the trailer on purpose to create more hype for the film. Regardless if the leak was real or not, a new green-band trailer has now surfaced online, this time in full HD quality. The trailer is the same for the most part with only a few blood and sex scenes removed.

It’s no surprise that the trailer looks amazing, David Fincher always has an eye for dark and atmospheric films and this one looks to be on the same level as some of his past films like Se7en. I’m very curious to see how Sony handles this film, the tone of the trailer is quite odd and unsettling and I really love the tagline “the feel bad movie of Christmas”.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is an adaptation of the Swedish original, which is based on the novel by Stieg Larsson. The film stars Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgard and Robin Wright. It will be hitting theaters on December 21st, 2011, just in time for the holidays! Check out the trailer below.
