When Swedish DJ/producer Herman Olvik A.K.A. OLWIK decided to remix Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s uplifting festival anthem “Come Follow,” he had his work cut out for him – the original already succeeded in capturing the radiant energy every progressive house artist sets out to when they set foot in the studio, after all. What he turned out made it a worthwhile endeavor, though, as it became such a favorite of the duo themselves that they helped propel it into mainstream consciousness.

And who could blame them? The updated melody and trancier synths OLWIK’s version make it a perfect festival anthem. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano sure seem to think so, anyways; they’ve played it out at major festivals like Beyond Wonderland, Ultra Music Festival and EDC New York, giving it the attention it needed to wind up on podcasts like Tiësto’s Clublife and others on Sirius XM. This doesn’t surprise us at all, as we’ve already seen the ripples made by OLWIK’s tracks turn into waves in the past.
