Martin Garrix And Matisse & Sadko Breathe Fire With Dragon

This festival season, Martin Garrix has been dropping progressive house bombs like a madman. The 19-year-old producer sought to reinvent himself after his 2014 hit "Animals" became the "Sandstorm" of the contemporary EDM generation, and he follows up his Tiësto collaboration and new track debuts with a powerful joint effort between himself and Russian progressive house duo Matisse & Sadko.

“Dragon” exhibits an expert grasp on main stage flair by the brothers, who perhaps also sought to meet Garrix on familiar creative territory. A string section leads up to monumental synth stacks, the crescendo of which ignites several measures of bass kicks designed to set the crowd of a sold-out festival on fire with frenzied movement. Seeing as how Matisse & Sadko are signed to Steve Angello’s Size Records, their expertise in such endeavors surely comes as no surprise.
