Tha Carter IV Pushed Back To August

Tha Carter IV has once again suffered a delay. The upcoming album from Lil Wayne was supposed to hit on June 21st but YHTN tells us that it will now arrive on August 29th. The delay, while not surprising, is still upsetting. Fans have been waiting a long time for this one. Although judging by what we've heard from it so far, maybe the delay will do Tha Carter IV some good.

Lil Wayne has a lot to live up to with this album. Tha Carter III was a fantastic piece of work and surpassing or even just matching it will be a tough challenge. As much as I want to hear this album, if it still needs work then I’m ok with waiting. As long as in the end, we get something that was worth waiting for.

What do you think? Worth the wait?
