Fans of replica belt buckles will be jumping for joy after hearing that the Uncharted 3 Collector’s Edition will include a wearable replica of protagonist Nathan Drake’s horseshoe belt buckle. That isn’t it, however. It will additionally include a ring and necklace strap, allowing you to look even more like Sir Francis Drake’s descendant than anyone else you know. Some gamers are sure to get some good use out of this stuff for costume parties or even every day wear.
The special edition will be rounded out by the inclusion of a Nathan Drake figurine (who happens to be wearing that exact same belt buckle.) It will sell for $99.99, and will come with a steel book case for the game disc and a “traveling chest” box for the entire set.
Sony also revealed details on the game’s retailer specific pre-order bonuses. The list follows this line of text:
Best Buy: a “regeneration booster” to heal more quickly
Amazon: a “Carpet Bomb Kickback” (allowing you to send out three grenades at once) and a clip size augmentation for the Para 9 or G-MAL weapons
Gamestop: the “Creepy Crawler Kickback,” which turns you “into a swarm of deadly creatures for a limited time.”
