Opening in theaters on Friday is the new stripper sequel Magic Mike XXL, which is the follow up to 2012's Magic Mike. The film once again stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Kevin Nash, and Gabriel Iglesias, as well as new cast members Donald Glover, Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Elizabeth Banks and Andie MacDowell.

Opening in theaters on Friday is the new stripper sequel Magic Mike XXL, which is the follow up to 2012’s Magic Mike. Set three years after the events of the last movie, Mike (Tatum) has now left the stripping game for more legitimate work. However, longing for his old life and his friends, Mike and the remaining Kings of Tampa hit the road to Myrtle Beach to put on one last blow-out performance.

A few weeks ago at the Los Angeles press day for Magic Mike XXL, we sat down with Adam Rodriguez for an exclusive interview. During our discussion he spoke about the new film, the success of the original, reprising his role, reuniting with the returning cast, working with the new cast members and original director Steven Soderbergh’s new role in the production.
