Kid Cudi’s Marijuana Music Video

I bet you didn't know that when actor Shia LaBeouf isn't busy fighting off giant robots, he's practicing his directing skills. It's true, in fact, the young actor recently directed Kid Cudi's Marijuana music video. LaBeouf shot the video last year when Cudi performed at the 23rd Annual Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. The actor chooses to go with documentary-style shoot complete with a healthy dose of jittery camerawork.

LaBeouf shot the video last year when Cudi performed at the 23rd Annual Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. The actor chooses to go with a documentary style shoot complete with a healthy dose of jittery camerawork.

While I like the song a lot, I’m not a big fan of the video. It’s notable because Shia LaBeouf directed it but aside from that, nothing really stands out about it. I don’t like the whole documentary style decision and I found it rather unexciting. Especially when compared to the rather good music video he did for Erase Me.
