Following the acquisition of Beats Audio, and the recent launch of Beats 1 Radio, Apple is debuting their One Mix Sessions with the legendary Eric Prydz. It’s a huge maneuver to capture a share of the growing popularity of electronic dance music, and with a breakout mix by Pryda himself, Apple is sure to grab some serious attention.

The debut feature plays nicely into Prydz’ monstrous year, which sees him gearing up to release his first ever artist album, three Pryda EP’s, and launching a residency at Ibiza’s iconic Amnesia on July 23rd.

The Eric Prydz One Mix is scheduled to go live at 11pm (PST) on July 3rd, and you can tune in via the Beats 1 Player. Despite the uncanny similarity to BBC Radio 1, Beats 1 has enjoyed success since its launch on June 30th, and has been running smoothly with BBC Radio’s own Zane Lowe behind the helm.

We’ll be standing by with updates on how Apple’s latest endeavor continues to play out, so stay tuned.
