Meet The Faces Of The Revolution In New Character Posters For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

One of the bright spots of the Hunger Games franchise has always been its striking marketing, and this fall's Mockingjay - Part 2 has already delivered the goods, from a decapitated bust of President Snow to an eerie Sister Portrait that's sure to give any fan of the books some serious chills. Now, Lionsgate has unveiled a slew of 'Faces of the Revolution' posters, painting the central players as the revolutionaries they are.

One of the bright spots of the Hunger Games franchise has always been its striking marketing, and this fall’s Mockingjay – Part 2 has already delivered the goods, from a decapitated bust of President Snow to an eerie Sister Portrait that’s sure to give any fan of the books some serious chills. Now, Lionsgate has unveiled a slew of ‘Faces of the Revolution’ posters, painting the central players as the revolutionaries they are.

The posters feature Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Jena Malone as Johanna, Sam Claflin as Finnick, Willow Shields as Prim and Mahershala Ali as Boggs. All of the actors’ faces are adorned with the mockingjay symbol, and the solidarity of them has a real impact. We’ve watched some of these characters grow and endure hardship over the course of three films, and in their final glances at the audience, those struggles have hardened them into true warriors.

Here’s the official synopsis:

In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, realizing the stakes are no longer just for survival, Katniss Everdeen teams up with her closest friends, including Peeta, Gale, and Finnick for the ultimate mission. Together, they leave District 13 to liberate the citizens of war-torn Panem and assassinate President Snow, who’s obsessed with destroying Katniss. What lies ahead are mortal traps, dangerous enemies and moral choices that will ultimately determine the future of millions.
