Two legendary acts from entirely different walks of the sonic spectrum have united for perhaps the most beautiful collaboration of 2015. Alternative rockstar Beck and The Chemical Brothers have cast an emotionally rich net for “Wide Open.”

The track employs classic synth sequencing to complement an ethereal atmosphere, all brought together by Beck’s evocative vocals. The British duo has outspokenly addressed the monotony of modern dance music, and are making a pointed comeback to recall the scene’s former beauty. In a brilliant step towards this ideal, “Wide Open” will be part of The Chemical Brothers’ upcoming album, Born in the Echoes, scheduled to release July 24th via iTunes, courtesy of Virgin EMI.
