Rivers By Thomas Jack Will Carry You Away

It's hard to have a real conversation about tropical house without the name Thomas Jack coming up, and he's broken a new music dry spell to cement his legacy even further. The Australian DJ/producer just released a brand new track called "Rivers," and it's as worthy a Summer anthem as any to mark the height of the festival season.

It’s hard to have a real conversation about tropical house without the name Thomas Jack coming up, and he’s ended a new music dry spell to cement his legacy even further. The Australian DJ/producer just released a brand new track called “Rivers,” and it’s as worthy a Summer anthem as any to mark the height of the festival season.

Heavily driven by heartfelt vocals and a sample of a brooding acoustic guitar riff, the track is 100% baby making music. Its folky influence gives it the same shot at receiving radio play as Avicii’s recent discography, while steel drum-like synths at the chorus still anchor it to electronic music. We expect to hear “Rivers” plenty more during live sets throughout the rest of the season, and honestly, we’re not complaining about that.
