As part of its jumbo-sized Hall H presentation today at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. introduced the cast and director of Pan, a revisionist take on the Peter Pan tale that’s hitting theaters in IMAX this fall, along with an engrossing new trailer for the family-friendly blockbuster.

Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Peter himself, Levi Miller, together with director Joe Wright, all took to the stage in front of applauding con-goers to talk about Pan and why this take on the iconic Boy Who Never Grew Up is different. For one, the shoot was apparently spectacular.

“Every day was pretty magical, Joe has this way of keeping morale up, there was music, all the crew was dancing and singing… It was fantastic,” Hugh Jackman was quoted as saying by Deadline’s Ross A. Lincoln. “This is one of the most fun movies I’ve ever made. And by the way the pirate ships are full scale, full built… it was incredible.”

Screened footage included a trailer and an extended look at Jackman’s portrayal of the dreaded pirate Blackbeard, which was greeted with rapturous applause. We’ll have both of those for you as soon as they come online, so stay tuned.
